Tutoring Centers by Department
Tutoring is offered by individual language programs and departments for students registered in their courses at any given quarter.
Writing Centers
- The German Writing Center: The Writing Center in the German Department is a forum for individuals who have specific concerns and questions regarding German writing or grammar in the context of an assignment, paper, or project or who simply want to practice their German writing skills.
- The Spanish Writing Center: The Spanish Writing Center in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese allows students to revise their essays for upper-level Spanish courses or to work with any specific aspect of the writing process.
- The Writing Place: The Writing Place is Northwestern’s center for peer writing consultations. Whether you are writing a paper for a class, composing application letters and essays, or working on some other writing project, a Writing Place consultant can help you at any stage of the writing process, from talking about ideas, to developing a plan, to revising and editing a draft. They provide support for students in language courses as well.
Extracurricular Activities and Events for Language Students
